The Message Board is an online version of your centre notice board. As the homepage of Educa, important messages can be posted here for both families and teachers to see. 

Centres have replaced services such as Facebook and Mailchimp with the secure Message Board to:

  • Share weekly updates.
  • Post important information such as term dates and price changes.
  • Send out newsletters.
  • Promote upcoming events.
  • Suggest activities to try at home.

Top Tip: Highlight important messages by pinning them to the top of your Message Board.

You can determine which classes your message is shared with. Only families and educators linked to the classes the messages is shared with would see the post. 

The comments section allows parents and families to engage with the message once posted. These comments can be viewed by all users with access to the message. 

By default Site Administrators are the only users who can post to the Message Board. However they can assign both educators and family members as Message Board Writers through your site settings. If you cannot see the Create Message button on the Message Board you cannot post to the Message Board and should contact your Site Administrator to discuss further.
