When using the Educa Touch app for your Android device (e.g. Samsung phones or tablets), you can set up push notifications. Push notifications are app alerts that will pop up on your screen to let you know when there is a new post in Educa. In this article we will show you how to turn your push notifications on for Educa Touch.

First you'll need to open your device's settings menu. Find and click on the "Settings" icon as shown below.

This will take you to the settings on your device.

Note: The settings screen may differ with some devices, so the following instructions may vary.

1: Scroll down to the Device category, and click "Sounds and Notifications" as shown below.

2: This will open your Sounds and Notifications settings. Find the Notification sub-category and click the "App Notifications" button, circled below.

3: You will now see a list of all of your device's applications. Find and click "Educa" ordered alphabetically under "E."

This will take you to the notification settings specific to the Educa Touch app, as shown in the screenshot below. Here you can enable / disable push notifications.
Notifications are enabled by default, so the settings should be switched off (shown below).

3: You will see a list of the following settings:

  • Block notifications - When on it will block push notifications / alerts from the app.
  • Set as priority - When on it will push Educa Touch's notifications to the top of your device's notification panel.
  • Hide content on lock screen - When on you will not be able to see the details of the notification from your phone's lock screen.

If the 'switch' (circled below) is green then it means the setting is turned on, if it is grey then the setting is off. Tap the button to switch it off/on again.

Once this feature is enabled you will be able to receive notifications on your mobile device, just like you would when receiving a text message.
