Note: This is currently only available on the Apple Educa Touch app.

The "Child Lock" mode in Educa Touch enables children to view their profile and their stories without any chance of accidental interference with drafts or the posting of stories. It's a fantastic way to engage a child with their own learning portfolio, especially for services going paper-free.

To enable "Child Lock" mode, tap the padlock icon in the top right corner of the screen.

A dialogue box will appear, asking you to confirm whether you wish to activate the Child Lock. tap Confirm to activate Child Lock Mode, or tap Cancel to return back to viewing profiles.

You will notice that in Child Lock Mode, the icons for Updates and Drafts will be greyed out, and will not be able to be selected. The padlock icon in the top right corner of the screen is also now a locked padlock.

Please note that while you still have access to the More tab while in Child Lock Mode, the only option you will be able to select is Log Out.

While in Child Lock Mode, your child will be able to view their stories and any text or photos that are included within the stories.

To disable Child Lock Mode, tap the locked padlock icon in the top right corner of the screen. You will be prompted for your password - the same password you use to log into your Educa account.
