Educa allows you to upload videos up to 300mb.  If your video is larger than 300mb, you can reduce (compress) the file size significantly using a free online site like freeconvert.com (upload, click to compress, then download) or you can embed videos that are uploaded to Google Drive or to YouTube first. Here's how embedding a video works.

Embed Videos from YouTube

Start by finding the video you wish to embed on Youtube and click on Share. Then select the Embed option and copy the link.

Now head back to Educa and create your post.

On the main text box select View and open up the Source Code. Simply paste the link into the pop up text box and click Ok

Once your post is published families and educators will be able to view the embedded link inside Educa.

Embed Videos from Google Drive

Upload your video into Google Drive and head to the file. Right click on the video and select Get Shareable Link. Ensure that Link Sharing is turned on and open the Sharing Settings to allow anyone with the link to view the video.

Next, you'll need to get the link to embed your video. Double click on your video to open it. Once open click on the 3 dots in the right corner of the screen and select Open In New Window.

In the new window that appears, click the 3 dots again and select Embed Item

Copy all the text from the pop-up box that appears and click Ok

Now head back to Educa and create your post.

On the main text box select View and open up the Source Code. Simply paste the link into the pop up text box and click Ok

Once your post is published families and educators will be able to view the embedded link inside Educa.
