Video Upload - Process and Display

How the Video Upload Works

  1. Select a video from your device using the Uploader.

  2. A 2-second placeholder video will appear in your story to show how the video fits in. This placeholder remains until the video is converted into a browser-friendly format.

  3. Videos may take a minute or two to process. For larger videos, refresh the page to view the final upload.

Display Conventions

  • Videos are displayed at 60% width by default.

  • Each video is placed on its own row to maintain layout consistency, especially for printed stories. Videos are not included in printed stories.

  • Use the Move arrows to rearrange videos as needed.

Troubleshooting Video Uploads

Image Display Conventions

  • Images load into the story or message body at 50% width (two images per row, centred).

  • Hover over an image to adjust its size or move it to a different location.

Attachment Display Conventions

  • Story Attachments: Displays a preview of the file in the story body and adds the full file as a downloadable attachment. Use a reflection box for additional context if needed.

  • Message Attachments: Appear only as downloadable files without a preview. Use the message body for your main content.

⛑️ If you encounter issues uploading a file, it may be due to:

  • Unsupported formats.

  • File size exceeding limits.
