Families want to see and be involved in what their children are doing and learning and this is the beauty of Educa. Watch this tutorial to learn how to easily add parents and share moments and observations with them.
Please follow the video above or the simple steps below to add family members to a child's profile and share observations to make sure they remain connected and informed.
Inviting Family Members
Access the child’s profile by clicking on the Children tab, and select the child to whom you want to add family members.
Once in the child's profile go to the section titled Family Information.
Click on the Invite Family button to add a new family member. Input all required details:
First Name
Last Name
Relationship to Child
Email Address
Once you submit this information, the invited family member will receive an email invitation to join Educa.
Sharing Observations
To share an observation, click the + Create Story button on the child’s profile. Here you can input any observations about the child's activities, learning progress, or notable incidents.
You can add photos or videos to the observation. Including media can make the story more engaging, but remember that less is often more.
Once you have completed the observation, click the Publish tab at the bottom of the page. Publishing the observation will immediately share it with the connected family members, keeping them updated on their child’s learning.
