Group learning is great, and within a group, children learn different things at different times - it’s a complex dynamic. Capturing these moments is essential for tracking progress and fostering collaboration. Recording these activities allows educators and families to see how each child interacts and learns within a group setting.

Educa makes it easy and quick to record and share these group stories at both group and individual levels, saving you hours. Watch the video or read below to learn how to do it efficiently.

Creating and sharing a group story

  1. Begin by visiting your dashboard, where you'll find all the tools needed to document and share group experiences. Select Create Story then Group Story.

  2. Next, select the children who participated in the activity by clicking on their profiles. You can also select an entire Class or Group. This ensures that the story is linked to each child's profile.

  3. Record the group activity, ensuring you capture the essence of their learning experience. Focus on significant moments that highlight collaboration and learning and add images or videos that support the observation.

  4. Once you are done, click Publish. The group story will be shared individually with each child's family, ensuring privacy and personalised engagement. This approach allows families to see how their child's learning builds within the context of group activities.

☝️Remember, group recording doesn't mean overwhelming parents with numerous photos. Emphasise quality over quantity to showcase the essence of the learning experience.

Unlike social media platforms where content is shared with everyone, Educa ensures that each observation is shared only with the respective child's families. This ensures a more focused and meaningful interaction.
