If your centre uses Google Calendar to share important events with families, you are now able to import this calendar into Educa.
This will be a 'View Only' calendar for parents to see.
If you wish to edit an event or make changes to your calendar, you still do this through Google, but the information is then updated on Educa.
The first step to importing your Google Calendar into Educa is to find your Google Calendar's Public ID. Check out this help article from Google for more information on how to do this.
Once you have your Public ID, head on over to your Educa site.
Click the Admin button in the right hand corner of the screen.
From the drop down menu that appears, select Site Settings.
Once on the Site Settings page, select the Privacy and Preferences button in the top right hand corner.
Once the Privacy and Preferences page has loaded, scroll down until you get to the Calendar section.
At this point, paste your Google Calendar Public Id into the 'Use Google Calendar' box, then close out of the page.
This will then import your Google Calendar, which can be accessed through Service > Event Calendar.
