Tables help organise goals, messages, and images in a clear format. This guide walks you through inserting and editing tables in Educa.

Creating a table

  1. Place your cursor where you want the table to be added.

  2. Click the More menu (⋮) in the toolbar. Select the Insert Table icon.

  3. In the table formatting menu, move your cursor over the grid to select the number of rows and columns you want to include in the table.

Note: You'll see light grey-dotted table guidelines while editing. These will not be visible when published, unless you change the border colour.

➡️

Adding text or images to a table

Once the table is added to your article, you can add content by clicking inside a cell.

  • To add text: Simply start typing your text

  • To add a new image: Click inside the cell and use the Add Media button.

  • To move an image already on the page: copy/cut the image, then paste it inside the cell.

See this article for further ideas on how to utilise tables for your story layout.

Formatting a table

  • Click a cell to edit, or drag to select multiple.

  • Use the formatting toolbar to change alignment, add/delete rows, merge cells, etc.
