This article shows you how to customise the layout of your stories and posts in Educa. You'll learn how to move and align images, add text in different ways, and create neat captions — all using Educa’s flexible story editor.

General Layout Tips

Educa’s story editor gives you a blank canvas to work with. You can place images anywhere, in any size, with text wrapping around them. Use drag or click to move images, and customise your layout with background colours, different fonts, and emojis.

Moving images:

  • Hover over an image to see the orange Click or Drag button.

click to start moving an image
  • Click it to reveal a blue grid of placement lines.

  • When a line turns orange, click to place the image there.

  • Images placed side-by-side in a row will auto-resize to match.

  • Images placed one above the other in a column will also match sizes automatically.

💡 Tip: Want to create a photo row? Move an image onto a new line, then drag another image beside it.

  1. Write your story and upload your images using Add Media.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) on the toolbar and insert a table.

  3. Add as many cells as you need (one per image).

  4. Copy and paste each image into a table cell (dragging won’t work here).

  5. Click an image and choose 33% / 50% / 100% to resize it.

  6. Add your caption directly into the cell under each image.
