Managing Pending Invites

How to use the Manage Users page to manage invites on your site.

The Manage Users page lets you manage all pending Family, Teacher, and Student invitations from one central location.

Access the Manage Users Page

The Manage Users page can be accessed through Settings > Manage Users.

Managing Pending Invitations

Once you've invited Families, Teachers or Students/Children, you'll see their pending invite in the respective tabs. Each entry shows: name, email address, who sent the invite, and date of last invite.

Note: You'll only see the option for Children/Student invites if you have enabled Student Users / Child Users on your site.

Options to Manage Invites

Re-Invite

Click to resend the invite email. If this is greyed out, you'll have to wait 24 hours since the last invite before you can send another one.

Click to resend all pending invites at once.

Click to fix spelling errors in names. If the email address is incorrect, you'll need to delete the invite and create a new one.

Delete

Click to delete the invite. Any existing invite email will no longer be valid.

Setting Invitation Rights

By default, all Teachers and certain Family Members can send invitations to Family members to join a child's profile. You can change this at any time in Site Settings > Privacy to limit who can send invites.

The options are:

  • All Teachers and Child's Parents (Default)

  • All Teachers

  • Site Admin Only

The Family members listed as the below relationships to a child can send invites to other Family members if enabled:

  • Mother

  • Father

  • Parent / Parents

  • Primary Caregiver

Troubleshooting

If anyone is not receiving their invite email, or having trouble accepting, first check that you have the correct spelling for their name and email address. If this is correct and they're still having issues, contact Educa Support for assistance.
