Overview
We're in the process of removing all old data from Educa for children who left us a long time ago. Before we delete everything forever, we're giving parents and caregivers another opportunity to get their child's learning stories, photos and videos before we permanently delete them.
We are making this offer to all family members who were linked to a child in Educa while that child was in attendance at their service, provided that child has left the service at least 3 months ago.
What you get
After payment you will receive a link to download a zip file of your child's portfolio. These will be the same stories and images that you may have received while your child was in attendance at their service.
This zip will contain all of their learning stories as PDF documents, which you can view online or print out. You will also receive any images and videos that were uploaded as a part of the learning stories.
This is just another chance to save a copy of these memories if you don’t have them anymore, or if you would like a digital copy to share with family and friends.
⚠️ You will need to download this file using a desktop or a laptop computer. Please don’t use your mobile device or iPad as these don’t handle zip files well.

While the download includes only individual learning stories (about just your child) you may receive images that also have other children in them. That will be due to how their teacher managed photos for these children while they were in attendance at their ECE.

We’re unable to show you your child's whole portfolio. However, the portfolio preview page will give you a sample of some of the images that are included. We also list the number of learning stories, photos and videos contained in the portfolio.

If your child left their ECE over 3 months ago you will receive a separate email with a link for their portfolio. We’re still in the process of sending emails out and are working from oldest to most recent. Please hold tight and you should receive a link for your other children within the next week.
If after a week you still haven’t received a link, let us know at archivesupport@geteduca.com and we can have a look for you. It might be that your child didn’t have enough portfolio information to qualify for an email to be sent out.

Sometimes it can take a while for us to package up your child's portfolio. This might be because of high demand, or the size of the portfolio itself.
