🔒 Site Admins only – If you can't create Message Board post or don’t see these options, you don’t have permission. Ask someone with site admin access at your centre to help.
By default, only teachers with site admin access can create Message Board posts. This article shows how to grant posting access to other users.

Granting Teachers Permission to Post
To allow a teacher to create Message Board posts:
Go to Centre > All Teachers.
Click the teacher’s name to open their profile.
Click Edit Profile.
Tick Message Board Writer.
Click Save.
That teacher can now post to families of the children they are linked to.
If a Teacher needs more access than just creating a Message Board post, you can grant them admin access instead.
Grant a family member Permission to Post
Go to Settings > Site Settings.
Click Message Board.
Search for the family member (type their name, then click the magnifying glass).
Select the family member from the results.
Click Save.
Family members who can post appear under the search field. To remove access later, click the trash icon next to their name.
Class Privacy and Message Board posts
Class Privacy settings affect teachers, but not family members.
With Class Privacy enabled: Teachers can only post to their own classes or assigned groups.
With Class Privacy disabled: Teachers who are Message Board Writers can post to all families on the site.
Family members with posting access: Can post to all families, regardless of Class Privacy settings.
