Invite Family Members

Invite families to connect to a child’s profile so they can see you updates, stories, and plans.

Invite a family member to a profile

  1. Find the child's profile in All Children.

  2. Open the child’s profile.

  3. Enter the family member’s name and email address.

  4. Select their Relationship to Child.

  5. Click Invite.

Relationship to Child

The following Relationship to Child options are considered Parents and Primary Caregivers and will give full access to the profile. Other options will provide limited access.

  • Mother

  • Father

  • Parent

  • Parents

  • Primary Caregiver

Note: It's important to always have at least 1 family member listed as Parents and Primary Caregivers to ensure someone has full access to the profile.

One Family Member, Multiple Children

To invite a family member to multiple profiles, invite the family member to one child’s profile first. After they accept, use Link to Existing Family to connect them to the other child’s profile(s).

Re-invite families

You can re-send an invite to a family member by clicking Re-Invite next to their email on the child's profile.

🔒 Site Admins only - To view, resend and delete all invites on your site, go to Manage Users to see an overview.

Troubleshooting

If any family members are not receiving their invite email, or having trouble accepting, first check that you have the correct spelling for their name and email address. If this is correct and they're still having issues, please Contact Us and we can assist.
