There are many ways you might need to communicate with families and colleagues, whether it's through direct conversations, group messages, or sharing general information. Educa is designed to accommodate all these communication styles effectively, helping you stay connected with families and staff members.

Please watch the video above or read the following guide to understand which tool to use and when—be it a direct message, a message board post, or other forms of communication.

Message Board

The Message Board is your default page upon login. It serves as a platform where mass messages are shared with all families associated with the site or targeted to specific classrooms. This is the place where you can share announcements and provide updates for the latest information about school activities and events.

Use it for example for:

  • Weekly updates: Ideal for sharing updates for a service, class, or group.

  • Important notices: Communicate essential information like dates, events, and price changes.

  • Attachments: Easily send newsletters or other PDF documents.

  • Home Activities: Share ideas for activities families can try at home.

  • Targeted Communication: Reach out to specific parent volunteers or groups

To access the Message Board: Simply log in to your account, and you will be directed to the Message Board as your home page.

For more details on how to use this feature, please take a look at the Message Board article.

  • Important information about a child.

To access the Teacher Messages: Select Teacher Messages from the options available in the Community section in the main navigation menu.

Policies and Resources

For uploading, storing and accessing important documents and educational materials, visit the Policies or Resources. Whether you're looking for policy documents or resources such as information leaflets, activity sheets or teacher material), you'll find them neatly organised here.

To access Policies and Resources: Navigate to the Policies or Resources section under the Centre tab in your main navigation. These tabs are typically grouped under a larger 'Administration' or 'Resources' menu.

With these tools, our platform ensures that communication, collaboration, and access to important information are streamlined and effective in one place.
