Educa’s Copy Story feature lets you take an existing published Individual Story and quickly create a new version for another child. Only the text is copied, so you can easily tailor media and reflections for each child’s experience.
When to use Copy Story
Use Copy Story when:
You’ve documented a shared experience and want to create individual stories.
You want to reuse your reflections, observations, and learning insights, but adjust the details for each child.
You don’t want to start from scratch for every child’s story.
⚠️ You can only copy published Individual stories. Draft stories and Group stories cannot be copied.

What is included in the Copy
This feature is designed to streamline the process of creating personalised stories for each child while maintaining flexibility and performance. Here’s what is included in the copied story:
Text (Reflections, Observations, and Learning Insights)
The copied story will include all text content, such as the child’s reflections, observations, and learning insights from the original story. This ensures that the core learning experience is shared and can be personalised for each child.
Why Only Text?
Focusing on copying text ensures each child's story remains relevant and personalised. You can easily update and adjust content for the individual child while adding the most appropriate images or videos afterward.
Why Not Media, Plans, or Forms?
Media such as photos, plans, and forms are excluded to maintain relevance and context for each child. This also ensures faster processing and optimal platform performance.
