Overview
When a child moves on from their early childhood service, their records are eventually removed from the Educa system. Before anything is permanently deleted, we provide parents and caregivers with another chance to download their child's learning stories, photos, and videos.
If you choose not to purchase, please note that once the deadline in your email has passed, the portfolio will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
What you get
After payment you will receive a link to download a zip file of your child's portfolio. These will be the same stories and images that you have received while your child was in attendance at their service.
This zip will contain all of their individual learning stories as PDF documents, which you can view digitally or print out. You will also receive any images and videos that were uploaded as a part of the learning stories as separate files.
This is just another chance to save a copy of these memories if you don't have them anymore, or if you would like a digital copy to share with family and friends.

We’re unable to show you your child's whole portfolio. However, the portfolio preview page will give you a sample of some of the images that are included. We also list the number of learning stories, photos and videos contained in the portfolio.

We are sending this offer to all family members who were linked to a child in Educa while that child was in attendance at their ECE, provided that child has left the ECE and their profile is archived.

While the download includes only individual learning stories (about just your child) you may receive images that also have other children in them. That will be due to how their teacher managed photos for these children while they were in attendance at their ECE.

We’re sending these emails in stages, working from the oldest records through to the most recent. If you have more than one child, their links may arrive at different times.
If you haven’t received a link after a reasonable wait, email us at archivesupport@geteduca.com and we can check for you. In some cases, a link may not be sent if there isn’t enough portfolio content available to download.

The numbers listed in your email may include some duplicates, which are automatically filtered out when we package your download. The final count may be slightly lower as a result.
